I love taking pictures of babies. The top and bottom pictures are of the same baby — just two weeks older! How fun it was to be around during their arrivals!
What a fun night with friends. We have known these folks for maybe 15 years? As one of the older generation said — “We were you when we first met” — in other words, young parents with kids. How lovely to meet up.
While I was away in Norfolk, Jacob made a shark out of cardboard. It was another AMAZING artistic creation, VERY lifelike. Little Nati was intrigued and terrified: he wanted to feed and touch the shark but whenever Elias or Derrick was holding the shark it became animated and thus dangerous.
We all just laughed ourselves silly watching this toddler interact with the shark. I had forgotten that my friend Derrick was such an actor and that toddlers have such great imaginations!
We had a productive busy anniversary. I guess other couples like to get away. We like to stay home. We made pepper strings together, and processed 9 batches of basil pesto (one which we ate for dinner). Boy, gardens are not just work to plant, but it takes time to process and pick and eat all that food!
We also worked on tie-dying T-shirts. Working with stencils was also fun (and messy!)
