After many busy days, it is so nice to get on a train. Especially a private compartment! We enjoyed the miles and miles and miles of water lilies around Tangail (due to large flooding). We did school. We played ride-a-horsy.
Anyone else remember the first time they went through Hatirjheel at sunset? I knew that the area has just been re-done, with lots of bridges . . but my! beautiful! The lights reflected off the lakes and there were no buildings to crowd out the sky. We were in raptures, especially since we just got off our bus in old Dhaka. And since we were traveling right past Pizza Hut, we had to stop. I love my little town life but some Dhaka days are special.
