I took M and my friends to see Selborne. It was very special to walk down memory lane with them. My daughter had so many questions — what did you do in your free time? Where did you shower? What was your uniform? Did you play outside? Did you pick your roommates? Was your room messy? Such a flood of memories came back! I remembered the utterly stupid/ mean things I did and said and thought. I remembered the nurturing love of some staff and others reacting to Indian culture and being stressed out. I remember learning to play Fighting Solataire, bucket baths, and playing guitar on our bathroom step.
